Cremeens-King Funeral Home


The Cremeens-King Funeral Homes, Inc. was established in 1986 by Jay Cremeens and his wife Andrea. Jay a lifelong native of Gallipolis, is a graduate of the Ohio University and received his mortuary degree from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Ohio, West Virginia, and also Virginia. Andrea Cremeens is a graduate of the University of Rio Grande with a masters degree in education she has been teaching at Washington Elementary in Gallipolis and is also an Ohio licensed funeral director. In 1995, the Cremeens family constructed a new facility in the Village of Racine, in Meigs County, Ohio. In 2009, Nathan King and Jennifer Cremeens married. Nathan a graduate of the Ohio Wesleyan University he then furthered his education by graduating from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. After mortuary school he returned to his lifelong home of Gallipolis, and became an Ohio funeral director. Nathan and Jennifer have three sons Tanner, Kellen, and Baker King. In 2012 The Cremeens along with the King Family’s together and established the Cremeens-King Funeral Home in Pomeroy, in Meigs County, Ohio.
