Charlotte E. Sykes, age 89 of Bright, IN passed away Monday at the Drake Center. Born October 25, 1922 in California, KY she was the daughter of the late George & Della (Wolfington) Carr. Charlotte graduated from Bright High School and was a member of the Bright Christian Church. She was the cook for the daycare at Dearborn Hills Methodist Church and a member of the Home Economics Club in Bright, IN.
Charlotte is survived by her sister Estelle Johnson of Cleves, OH and several nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Sykes, brother George Carr & sister Aurelia Wilson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 11am until time of services at 1pm all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Rev. Jeff Stone officiating.
