Michael George Renner, 65, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024. He was born July 23, 1959 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, son of the late Harold and Wilma (Buchannan) Renner.
Michael was a member of the Vineyard Community Church of Aurora, Indiana. At church he was a longtime board member and also was known for his Famous Sausage Gravy. He enjoyed his kid friendly Halloween Displays (fun but not scary) and his Christmas Displays. He loved spending time with his family and liked to travel. He was an avid gardener and an amazing cook. He was a 1977 graduate of Lawrenceburg High School. He worked as a Pattern Maker at Northbend Pattern Works.
He is survived by his loving wife, Amelia "Amy" Fuller Renner of Aurora, IN; son, Dustin (Madee) Renner of Greendale, IN; daughter, Kyaira Walton of Rising Sun, IN; 6 grandchildren, Caden Walton, Quin Walton, Jaelynn Walton, Noah Walton, Adalei Walton, Asher Walton; 2 sisters, Jennifer Ulrich of Brandon, FL, Jeri Renner of Greendale, IN; mother-in-law, Jane Fuller of Lexington, KY; and his dogs (his constant companions), Gracie and Beau.He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Renner; mother, Wilma Renner; and his father-in-law, Victor Fuller.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Vineyard Community Church of Aurora, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at Vineyard Community Church of Aurora Indiana, Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 11 am, with Pastor David Hall officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Indiana.
